I believe in one eternal God. I believe He exists in 3 persons known as the Holy Trinity.
He exists as God the Father.
He exists as God the Son (Jesus).
He exists as God the Holy Ghost.
I believe that God came to this earth and lived among us as a man named Jesus. I believe that Jesus was born to a teen-aged virgin girl named Mary. I believe that Jesus’ purpose in coming to earth was to show the world that God truly loves us deeply and passionately. So much so, that Jesus gave His life as a sacrifice for all of our sins and was crucified on a cross.
I believe that Jesus’ death was not the end. I believe He rose from the dead and now lives eternally at the right hand of God. I believe in God the Holy Ghost, who was sent to us after Jesus’ rising from the dead to be a Comforter to us, and to teach us how to live lives that would be pleasing to God. I believe in miracles, signs and wonders. I believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit and that they still exist for The Church of today. However I do not believe that these gifts are necessary for salvation. I believe that they are what the Bible says they are…gifts.
I believe that the Bible is the infallible, inerrant word of God, but I do not believe that the King James Version is the only acceptable version to read. I myself read the New American Standard Bible and also The Message versions.
These are my beliefs. I’ve tried to list these beliefs as simply as I can, but this list is only the beginning. For a more complete list of what I believe, read the Bible.
Thanks.
